Spring Decor Tour: Buds, Blooms & Blossoms

Thank you for stopping by, I’m so happy you’re here.  My Spring décor tour is inspired by my Instagram hashtag group that I host with a great bunch of ladies #budsbloomsandblossoms

This is my first year doing a Spring Decor Tour on my blog. I’m so excited to show you all the fresh new ways I’ve styled my home this Spring season. Let’s get started with my Spring Decor Tour: Buds, Blooms & Blossoms!

Many (but not all) of the links on www.mymountainretreat.com are affiliate links. That means I may make a small commission through one of these links. The price of the item is the same for you whether, it is an affiliate link or not, and using affiliate links help me to maintain this website. As an Amazon associate, I earn form qualifying purchases.

Let’s get started in the Dining room since this is where the inspiration began. These beautiful plates that I received from Bico Ceramics are absolutely gorgeous. The pink and green colors in these Spring eucalyptus plates are just beautiful. To keep with the eucalyptus theme, I purchased a set of two eucalyptus garlands for the center of the table. I also used lamb ears garlands I had previously purchased from Hobby Lobby. The pink flowers were bouquets I had purchased from Walmart. I cut off the flowers and stuck them into the garland.

The pink check napkins were an Amazon find. I purchased the round green placemats and watering can napkin rings from Kohls. Those adorable pink bunny glasses, I found at Homegoods & Marshalls. I had to go to a few different stores to find them, but they were definitely worth hunting for.

I get a lot of questions about where my dining room table is from. My hubby built it for me and it seats 14 people. We love to have large family gatherings here and its nice that everyone can sit at the table.

Since we have such an enormous dining room table, there isn’t much room for anything else. My hubby and I built these shelves so I would have somewhere to display some of my favorite items in the dining room.

I have been collecting Rae Dunn items for about three years now. These are definitely a few of my favorite pieces. I love displaying the watering cans and planters in the Spring. To keep with the same color scheme, I chose pink tulips and greenery which I think compliment the table well.

The tulip pillow was sent to me from my sweet friend Kelly over @farmtotablecreations on Instagram. She has so many beautiful designs in her Etsy shop. I love the soft pink in this throw blanket I found at Homegoods. Just draping it over this bench with a pillow adds a nice soft cozy touch to the dining room.

Let’s move on to the foyer…

The beautiful sign is from ohsweetskye’s Blossom Spring collection.  I love the green, it reminds me of an old chalkboard. If you’re ever looking for a statement piece for your home, check them out. They have some of the most beautiful signs out there.

Recently, on a shopping trip to Kohls, I found these two tobacco baskets with shelves. I purchased them with the thought of hanging them in the dining room, but found this too be a better spot for them.

If you remember this room from my Christmas tour, there was a white painted dresser in here. I decided I wanted to purchase something new in here.  I’ve had my eye on this Everette table from World Market for awhile now. They had a coupon for 30% off a few weeks back so I decided to order it. So happy I did, it really fits well into this room.

If you’ve been following me on Instagram then you know I love buffalo check. This fall & winter I really went all buffalo checked out! It is one thing that I’m not looking to change out in my home anytime soon, I still love it.

I almost took it all down for the Spring, but after much consideration I decided that I didn’t want too. I still really love it and I just had to find a way to make it work with my Spring décor.

This Ruggable rug is one of my favorite rugs ever. It is an 8 x 10 and can be washed in the washing machine. It is perfect for a foyer with all the foot traffic. I think it goes perfectly with all the pops of Spring. This rug is here to stay!

The seagrass baskets are a Target find. (Who else LOVES Target!) I accented with two buffalo check pillow covers from Amazon, these are really the way to go, so inexpensive. Last but not least is my new white & wood tiered tray from Décor Steals. The bunnies add a fun touch which will stay up until Easter.

Moving on to the Living Room

I always get asked where my couch covers are from. Last spring, I purchased them on Amazon, but unfortunately, they don’t seem to be selling them any longer.

To tie in the buffalo check curtains, I added a few more check covers from Amazon. Again, so inexpensive to purchase just the covers and the quality is very good.

How adorable is this HOME TWEET HOME pillow from my sweet friend Kelly at farmtotablecreations! I added a few of my real touch tulips from Amazon to the glass jars behind the couch. Love how this room turned out!

Next is the guest bedroom where my husband and I are currently sleeping while we remodel our master. First, I removed all the buffalo check from this room that I had used at Christmas time. I just wanted to really lighten up the room with white and pops of pink and wood. But don’t worry the buffalo check may make an appearance in here again late summer into fall.

I fell in LOVE with this beautiful Lush decor ruffle bedspread the first time I laid eyes on it. It actually goes perfect with the curtains that I have in here already. I found this gorgeous pink forsythia twig wreath on Amazon and knew it would add the perfect pop of pink.

Lets end in the kitchen.

The kitchen is a little bit different as I didn’t add in any pops of pink. I wanted the greenery but decided that I really wanted to go with a bee theme in here.

Ultimately, I went for pale yellow and green. You can find this sign and tea towel here. There is just so much adorable bee décor going around this year I couldn’t help myself!

When I saw Rae Dunn’s new bee designs, I knew right then the way my kitchen was going this Spring.. GIVE ME ALL THE BEE DÉCOR! This adorable chicken wire shelf is one of my favorite hobby lobby finds from last spring. It stays on my counter year-round and I change it up with the seasons.
